Roys Russian Armour

Ural 4320   P18 Radar  conversion This model won a gold medal at telford smw 2010 This model started out as the revell Ural kit, i used the chassie and cab from the kit and scratch built the rest from styrene sheet, rod,strip and tube.the wheels were made from my own molds out of resin. The array is made from styrene tube with a brass bar inserted down the center, The aerials are etch brass that i had made in scotland the support cables are from carbon fiber rod. The model was painted with humbrol m117 green then the camo was airbrushed on freehand 1st linen then 2nd black over the top of the green. This was then colourwashed and then drybrushed with lightened shades of the original colours. i then slightly weathered it. The final finish was a coat of humbrol matt cote

Trumpeter SA2 on zil transport This is basicly an out of the box build,one of trumpeters early flagship kits ,fantastic to build and extremely well detailed . Painted with Humbrol paints ,dry brushed and lightly weathered then given a coat of matt cote from Humbrol

SP Designs BREM-4 Resin conversion set This model started out as a Dragon BMP2 kit,i used the lower half of the hull and the running gear. The Brem4 kit came with a new hull top and ancillarys.this was an easy straight forward conversion as the top deck fitted perfect .i made some parts from wire and styrene and added a few fittings from the kit. I painted the model in Humbrol green and applied the brown and black camo freehand,this was then pin-washed ,dry-brushed and sprayed in matt cote.
