PPRU-1M (DOG EAR) Command and control vehicle...sp designs

PPRU-1M SBORKA Mobile recon and command post,Nato code name DOG EAR.
Based on MT-LBu tracked AFV it is equiped with a radar for the control of tactical air defence systems armed with missiles and artillary such as the Tunguska sa-19,ZSU-23 shilka, strella sa-13.the Sborka is capable of carrying out target designation whilst moving or stationary.
The kit is a 1:35 scale resin kit from SP Designs .It did build up quite well, with a bit of coaxing. i needed to add to the kit and chop and change a few items as you do with most resin kits. The tracks are the resin ones supplied with the kit.
i painted the model with humbrol enamels and added the camo freehand using an airbrush . i have pinwashed it and then drybrushed it..

BAT-M engineers vehicle ..panzer shop

BAT-M Heavy Engineers vehicle This kit started off as one of the Panzershop full resin kits. There were a lot of missing parts/details missing from this kit and a lot of parts made incorrectly ,so there is about 45% of this kit which is scratch built. The paints are Humbrol and this was applied with an airbrush,i used 3 tins of green paint, one was darkened using a dark green, one was as tin,and the last tin was lightened with a light green. I applied the darkend green   over  around  the joints and  around the doors and panels,i then filled in with the normal green and highlighted with the lightened green The whole model was colour washed followed by dry brushing using the 2 lighter shades of green . This model was a gold medal winner at the IPMS UK  International  Scale model word 2010 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
