PRV-16B Radar (TALL GUY)
This model was based on the hobby boss kraz truck ,this kit from hobby boss is a peach of a kit to build..
I used the drive train and the cab as the base for this model, i had to stretch the frame rails in the kit and move some parts around like air and fuel tanks .
The coms cabin was scratch built from white plasti card sheet .
I scratch built the radar mast and he radar transport frame out of evergreen rod and tube sections
The radar screen was made from evergreen angle iron sections and i inlaid edward etch mesh into it to form a screen all the rest of the bits and fittings were scratch built or converted from old kit parts.
The model was spray painted as a Serbian vehicle using humbrol enamels and after completing the decals the model was pinwashed , drybrushed and then it was covered in humbrol matt cote.
